Private Paris Antiques Market Tour of Saint Ouen

Meet your guide near Porte de Clignancourt in Paris and set off on your 90 minutes walking tour around the city’s famous flea market – St-Ouen. Standing out from other Parisian brocantes (smaller markets), St-Ouen is the largest in town and one of the largest in the world, with more than 2,000 stalls and shops spread across 16 submarkets on site. While walking around the labyrinth of aisles, check out some of the best, one-of-a-kind shops that only a local can show you! Discover a boutique selling haute couture from the 1920s, and visit a shop that peddles antique furniture from Versailles. As you stroll through the market, looking at items from just about every era, learn all about bargain hunting in the market from your friendly guide: how to distinguish junk from genuine gems, where to go for the biggest discounts, and who sells what and where. Hear tales of famous celebrities like Sharon Stone and Madonna, who’ve been known to shop here, and learn about their favorite market shops. Throughout your tour, you’ll have countless opportunities to stop and spend your vacation money to pick up genuine and unique souvenirs! Shop for leather goods, contemporary trinkets, vintage clothing, books, extravagant accessories and more – all at the best prices. While browsing stalls or digging through boxes in search of that extra-special find, your guide will introduce you to some of the market’s most colorful traders. Chat with second-generation merchants and hear their countless memories and tales, before working your way back to the start point, where your tour ends.
